Director Information felicitates winners of ‘Talent Vista’ competition on Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan

Jammu: Director Information Shreya Singhal on Sunday felicitated the winners of the ‘Talent Vista – Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition on Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan’ at the Media Complex in Jammu.

Addressing the participants on the occasion, Singhal congratulated the winners and appreciated all participants for their creativity and commitment towards the social cause.

She said such awareness campaigns play an important role in sensitising society, particularly the younger generation, about the harmful effects of drug addiction and the need for collective efforts to eradicate the menace.

The Director reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening public outreach initiatives under the ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan’ and encouraged young participants to continue taking part in awareness-based activities that contribute positively to society.

She also presented certificates and mementos to the winners in recognition of their creative efforts and contributions towards spreading awareness against drug abuse.

The competition witnessed more than 3,600 entries from across Jammu and Kashmir.

Sneha Devi from Dewan Devi Public School secured the first position in the slogan writing category, while Priya Rathore from Udhampur bagged the top rank in the poster making competition.

Information Officers Maheer Thakur and Alka Mishra were also present during the felicitation ceremony.
