LG Manoj Sinha releases Save Girl Child Film

JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today participated in a series of cultural, social, and spiritual engagements at Lok Bhavan, underscoring the administration’s focus on social awareness, ethical values, and inner well-being.

During the event, the Lieutenant Governor released a short awareness film titled “Mareya Ni Maye Migi”, aimed at promoting the Save Girl Child message. Congratulating the entire team associated with the film, he extended his best wishes for the initiative. Produced under the banner of DLSR Production Jammu, the film addresses the issue of female foeticide and draws inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao.”

In another engagement, the Lieutenant Governor was presented with books published by the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, including Autobiography of a Yogi, The Yoga of the Bhagavad Gita, and Solving the Mystery of Life by Paramahansa Yogananda. Prof. Vikas Abrol, Vice Chairman of Yogoda Satsanga Dhyana Kendra, Jammu—an affiliate of the Society—briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the meditation and spiritual activities regularly conducted by the Dhyana Kendra.

The engagements reflected a holistic approach towards social reform and spiritual enrichment, highlighting the administration’s support for initiatives that strengthen societal values and collective well-being.
