JAMMU: A public delegation from Reasi, led by former sarpanch Neelam Rani, on Tuesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu.
The delegation discussed various public issues concerning the Reasi area during the meeting, officials said.
Later, a delegation of the Senior Citizens Service Support Club Chowadi Jammu, led by its president S. K. Sharma, also met the Lieutenant Governor.
During the interaction, the delegation raised the issue of promotion and preservation of the Dogri language and sought greater support for its development.
Separately, President of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Javid Ahmed Tenga, also called on Manoj Sinha in Jammu on Tuesday.
