Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Baramulla and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson informed that Abdul Qayoom Lone, son of Ghulam Hassan Lone of Kalantra Bala, and Suraj Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Mohammed Sheikh of Sheikhpora Kreeri, were arrested at Mangam Wagoora Crossing after a heroin-like substance weighing 8 grams and 2 grams, along with cash of ₹22,500 and ₹500, respectively, were recovered from them.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kreeri for investigation.
