Srinagar: A 65-year-old man died after being hit by a truck in Satpakhren, Khrew Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, this evening, officials said.
News agency KNC reported that a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Ismail Colony Satpakhren, sustained critical injuries after being hit by a truck (JK05C-0676). He was shifted to PHC Khrew, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
