SRINAGAR: Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, President of J&K Apni Party, and a delegation from the Pashmeena Entrepreneurs Makers and Artisans (PEMA) Foundation led by its President Tariq Dar, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.
The PEMA delegation briefed the Lt Governor on the foundation’s efforts toward cultural preservation, artisan welfare, and the promotion of Kashmir’s Geographical Indication (GI) registered products. They also discussed the upcoming PEMA Foundation 2025 Artisan Award Ceremony, aimed at recognizing and empowering master craftspeople across Jammu and Kashmir.
