Uri:Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Uri, Dr. Sajjad Shafi Uri inaugurated a blood donation camp at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Uri.
The camp was organized to promote voluntary blood donation and ensure the availability of blood for patients in need. A large number of volunteers, youth, and social activists participated in the event, contributing to the noble cause.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sajjad Shafi Uri appreciated the efforts of the hospital administration and the organizers for holding the camp. He emphasized the importance of blood donation, terming it a lifesaving act and a responsibility of every healthy citizen towards society.
The MLA also interacted with the donors, Patients and extended gratitude for their selfless service. Medical staff and local representatives were present during the inauguration.
The camp concluded with dozens of units of blood donated, which will significantly strengthen the emergency healthcare facilities at SDH Uri.
