BARAMULLA: Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today released a podcast series prepared by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Baramulla, designed to create awareness among citizens regarding various government-sponsored schemes and welfare initiatives.

This initiative of DIPR Baramulla is expected to improve awareness, especially among youth and digitally connected audiences, ensuring that beneficiaries are informed and can easily access government services.

Later, the Chief Secretary also inaugurated newly constructed Meeting Hall at DC Office Baramulla premises, which will facilitate better coordination and efficient functioning of the district administration.

Meanwhile, Atal Dulloo also laid the foundation stone for the preservation of the historic Gurdawara at Chattipadshahi, Baramulla, at an allocated cost of Rs. 3.08 crore with an aim to conserve the cultural and religious heritage of the region and promote tourism and local engagement.

Similarly, the Chief Secretary laid the foundation stone for the preservation of Mata Shailputri Asthapan Temple at Khanpora, Baramulla, for Rs 3.96 crore, reflecting the government’s commitment to safeguarding important religious sites while promoting community participation and cultural preservation.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa; senior officers of district administration and other line departments were also present on the occasion.
