“The victims repeatedly approached Bilal for return of their money taken by committing fraud and cheating on them but he refused to return the money. He in order to mislead these people forged a letter shown to have been issued by the office of SSP CIK,” it reads.

It added that Bilal was questioned and on preliminary examination and analysis of his mobile, the forged letter (enquiry notice) in question was found and the same was retrieved.

“Bilal confessed that he has forged the enquiry notice to grab the money from different individuals. Accordingly, he was handed over to police in Zakoora for necessary legal action. A case FIR No  39/2025 U/S 318(4), 336(3), 336(4), 340(1) BNS, has been filed against him and investigation is in progress,” the statement reads
