Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Ganderbal and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that at a checkpoint at Baroosa Chowk police arrested one Ashiq Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Hameed Dar of Sarai Dangerpora Bandipora after Codeine Phosphate was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kheerbawani for investigations.
