13-year-old boy dies after being hit by cricket ball in Kunzar

Tangmarg: Tragedy struck Kunzar village in Tangmarg area on Saturday when a 13-year-old boy died after being hit by a cricket ball during a local match.

The deceased, Shahzeb Muzaffar Shah, son of Muzaffar Ahmed Shah, was a bright student at Government Middle School Takiya Batpora, Kunzar, and a passionate young cricketer.

According to eyewitnesses, Shahzeb was struck on the neck by the ball while playing, causing him to collapse on the field.

His friends immediately rushed him to the Primary Health Center in Kunzar. However, due to the severity of his condition, doctors referred him to a hospital in Srinagar. Tragically, Shahzeb succumbed to his injuries while being transported, sources said.
