Div Com Kashmir celebrates Navratri with Kashmiri Pandit employees at Odina Sumbal

Bandipora: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Sunday, joined the Kashmiri Pandit employees and their families in celebrating Navratri at the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) Colony Odina, Sumbal.

The celebration was marked by spiritual devotion and cultural events.

On the occasion, bhajans and prayers were held at the temple premises of the camp, which was followed by the distribution of prasad and interaction with the community members.

While extending warm Navratri greetings, the Divisional Commissioner assured the community of the administration’s commitment to improving the living conditions and infrastructure at accommodations provided to Kashmiri Pandits.

He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, besides senior officers from the district administration and police.

Meanwhile, migrant employees expressed their gratitude to the Divisional Commissioner for the visit and participation in the celebrations.
