Anantnag: Prominent journalist, poet, and writer Makbool Veeray was remembered on his 5th death anniversary at an event held in Anantnag.
The event was organized by the Maraz Writers & Artists Guild Anantnag in collaboration with the weekly Shaherbeen.
On the occasion, several prominent personalities reflected on the life and legacy of Makbool Veeray, sharing insights about his philosophy on life and death.
Among the speakers were Raja Yousuf, Attah Mohammad Mir, Zafer Farooq Salati, Waseem Ahmad, Gulzar Ganie, Iftikhar Ahmad, S. Tariq, Ashiq Veeray, Bashir Indrabi, Tasaduk Rashid, and Basheer Kaleem.
Meanwhile, “Gousha-e-Maqbool Veeray” was launched by the weekly newspaper Shaherbeen.
