Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kupwara and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police handout informed Sunday.
It said at Lassipora, one Rayees Ahmad Bhat, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat, resident of Kanthpora was arrested after approximately 35 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sogam and investigation initiated.
