Jammu: One drug peddler, identified as Asif Ali was arrested by the Jammu Police in a successful operation in Gujjar Nagar.
Giving details, Police said that acting on a specific intelligence, the operation was carried out by Police Station Peer Mitha.
“During the raid, Police seized 4.23 grams of heroin from the accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation into the matter is ongoing,” a Police spokesman said.
