Tangmarg: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah inaugurated the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Library and Study Point in Kunzer today, marking a milestone in the community’s educational development.
The library, named in honor of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, aims to offer students a dedicated space for study and research, symbolizing the importance of education and innovation in the region.
During the inauguration ceremony, MLA Shah expressed gratitude for the library’s establishment, describing it as “a beacon of knowledge and inspiration” for local youth. He highlighted the library’s potential to instill a love for learning and provide valuable resources for academic growth. “This library represents an investment in the future of our youth, ensuring they have the tools needed for success,” he said.
In a separate event, MLA Shah held an interactive session with female postgraduate students at Payam Restaurant, where he encouraged them to pursue their aspirations and recognized the critical role of education in empowering women. “Your education is your strength; never underestimate your potential,” Shah advised, urging them to make impactful contributions to society.
Earlier in the day, MLA Shah also attended the 24th Annual All J&K UT Level Talent Search Test award distribution ceremony at SKICC as Chief Guest. He commended the organizers for celebrating student achievements and promoting academic excellence across the union territory, reiterating his commitment to fostering educational growth in the region.
