Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed Sunday.
He said at Brath Road near Butchek Mode, two suspected persons — Tabish Nazir Bhat, son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat, resident of Dangerpora Sopore; and Javaid Ahmad Tantray, son of Abdul Majeed Tantray, resident of Khunbal Handwara – were arrested after their search yielded 52 grams of heroin from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered for investigation.
