The election was overseen by the Chief Election Commissioner and patron of the Human Aid Society, senior journalist Karamat Qayoom, who is also the Chairman of BWJA. The election process was managed by Election Commission members former BDO GM Sofi and renowned fruit grower Ghulam Rasool Wagay. Election observers included member of the Bar Association Baramulla, Adv. Ghulam Nabi Ahsan, as well as micro observers Er. Khazir Mohammad and Er. Peer Farooq.

Voting took place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, allowing 38 general body members the right to vote, out of which 29 votes were polled. Returning Officer Naseer Ahmad Rather and Er. The results were declared by the Chief Election Commissioner, and the newly elected members were subsequently administered the oath of office and awarded winning certificates. The Chairman, Bashir Ahmad Mir, was given the authority to choose his office bearers, including the Vice Chairman, Treasurer, and Secretary of the organization, with the consent of the members. Additionally, two members will be nominated by the executive body.

The election process was initiated following a nod given during the last annual meeting held on May 27, and the organization functioned under the Election Commission during this period, with the acting Chairman being the Vice President.
