Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal have arrested a drug peddler with a huge consignment of psychotropic substance, a police spokesperson informed.
He said at a checkpoint at Kulpora road, one Feroz Ahmad Khanday, son of Ghulam Mohammad Khanday, resident of Qamarwari Bund (Shalteng), Srinagar, was arrested after 100 bottles of Codeine Phosphate syrup were recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered for further investigation, police said.
