Rana decries I.N.D.I.A Alliance’s ‘slanderous campaign’ against Sanatan Dharma
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

JAMMU: Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana today expressed anguish over the “new trend of maligning Sanatan Dharma for realizing political objectives’, saying “those indulging in such slanderous campaigns are ignorant about eternal values of righteousness, compassion, purity, mercy, patience, self-restraint and forbearance, the essence of Sanatam Dharam”.

Addressing a religious congregation held to commemorate Bhagwat Gayan Yagya Evam Amarnath Yatra Samapan Samaroh at historic and heritage Ram Mandir at Purani Mandi here, Devender Rana condemned the venom spilt by Tamil Nadu Minister Udhaynidhi Stalin of I.N.D.I.A Alliance in Chennai against the Sanatana Dharma, saying this speaks of how low these politicians can go to realise their evil political aspirations. The Chief Minister’s son has exposed his ignorance about over 5000-year-old Dharma, which is a way of life and stands for universal brotherhood, peace, harmony, tranquillity and dignity of humanity, he said.

Rana expressed concern over targeting Sanatam Dharam for furthering appeasement politics. “The trend becomes all the more sinister and malicious when self-seeking politicians pick and choose the meaning of religious scriptures to suit their agenda. Such a distortion creates confusion in the society, which they actually want to create drift and divide among various sections of the society just to secure votes.” He asked them not to test their spirit of Sehansheelta (tolerance) and mistake it as a sign of weakness. Sanatanis will stand for their Dharma with full might.

He said the I.N.D.I Alliance bloc comprising Udhaynidhi Stalin, Kartik Chidambaram, Priyank Kharge, Swami Parsad Maurya and ilk have made a mission aggressively supported by Congress to distort and defame Sanatam Dharam which is totally unacceptable.

“Being Sanatanis we respect and regard every religion as this is the essence and philosophy of Hinduism,” Rana.

He also complimented Mahant Rameshwar Dass Ji Maharaj for organizing the event and remaining at the forefront to facilitate Shri Amarnathji bound pilgrims during the just concluded two-month Yatra, which witnessed record pilgrim arrival.

Mahant Ji also addressed the congregation and blessed all those who contributed towards making the stay of pilgrims especially the Sadhus comfortable.

Prominent among those present in the congregation included Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Dr. Satyanarayan Dass, Yudhveer Sethi, Parmod Kapahi, Kuldeep Dubey, Som Nath Khajuria, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, Ashok Singh Manhas, Dev Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Rajeev Gupta and others.
