Meanwhile, a local news agency KNO reported that over three dozen members of Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and erstwhile separatists were detained from a restaurant in Srinagar on Sunday where a meeting was being held to ‘revive the JKLF and Hurriyat’ in the Union Territory.

Quoting sources, KNO reported that the meeting among the JKLF members and erstwhile separatists was going on at a local restaurant near Police Station Kothibagh.

However, police after receiving a specific tipoff conducted searches and detained all the participants for verification.

A few among the detained persons include Masroor Ansari of Hurriyat, Shamshiuddin Rehman of Hurriyat, Firdous Ahmed Shah of JKLF, Mohd Rafiq Pehlu of JKLF and Mohd Yasin Bhat of JKLF, KNO reported.
