Former NC Youth Block President Sonawari joins PC

Srinagar: Zahoor Ahmed, former NC Youth Block President Vijpara Sonawari along with dozens of youth joined the Peoples Conference today.

They were welcomed into the fold by PC President Sajad Lone and Vice President Youth PC Sameer Bhat.

While welcoming them into the fold, PC President Sajad Lone said that it is inspiring and encouraging to see people from all walks of life joining the PC with a resolve to strengthen it on the ground and make it a viable political alternative.

“We have a common purpose of serving the people of J&K. It is a matter of great satisfaction that a growing number of people, especially the youth, are showing great faith and trust in our party and its policies. PC is committed to carving out space for youth leaders. We want to groom the youngsters to play a pivotal role and contribute to the politics and welfare of J&K in the coming decades,” he added.

The new entrants expressed pleasure in joining the party and pledged to take forward the vision and mission of the party and strengthen it at the grassroots level. They expressed confidence and faith in the leadership of Sajad Gani Lone to lead the people of J&K toward a brighter and prosperous future.
