Director Rural Sanitation visits several Panchayats of Kakpora, Pampore Blocks

PULWAMA: The Director Rural Sanitation J&K, Charandeep Singh, today visited Panchayat Samboora, Block Kakpora, and Panchayat Meej, Block Pampore as part of Jan Abhiyan.

During the visit, the Director took the first-hand appraisal of ongoing works being executed in the Panchayats. He also sensitized the PRI members along with the local public about the Back to Village, Phase 4, expected to commence in the Union Territory of J&K in a few days.

The Director at Panchayat Samboora, Block Kakpora interacted with Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora, other DDC members, Sarpanch Samboora, Sarpanches of adjoining panchayats as well as the general public of the area.

Senior officers of RDD Pulwama including ACD Pulwama, ACP Pulwama, Dy. Director, Planning RDD, and other officers were also present during the interaction.

While interacting with PRI representatives and the public, the Director exhorted them to participate actively in the B2V4 Programme and take due benefits of various schemes of Government.

The Director dedicated Community Service Centers (CSC), and other developmental works including lanes for the assistance of the general public across the Panchayat so that they can obtain benefits under the Government Schemes.

He also listened to various grievances/issues put forward by the public representatives and the relevant quarters were given appropriate instructions for the resolution of the same at the earliest.
