Govt orders transfer, posting of 7 JKAS officers

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered transfer and posting of six JKAS officers, official sources said.

Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Reasi in place of Abdul Qayoom, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Culture Department.

Gurdev Kumar, General Manager, DIC, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Udhampur relieving Din Mohd, who has been posted as Deputy Secretary to the Government, Information Department.

Naresh Kumar, Deputy Director, Tourism, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Kishtwar, vice Masood Ahmad Bichoo who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Abdul Jabbar, Deputy District Election Officer, Poonch has been transferred and as posted as Deputy Director, Tourism, Jammu.

The order issued in this regard said that the officers who have been assigned duties relating to Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2022 shall join at their new places of postings after completion of Yatra.

Meanwhile, in a separate order, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Anantnag, Shoaib Noor has been assigned the additional charge of CEO Municipal Council Anantnag.
