Meets youth delegation at Nawa-e-Subha, assures all possible support

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar met a delegation of J&K Fire Service aspirants who had called on him at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subah.

The visiting delegation put forward their concerns regarding the recently released merit list by the concerned agencies. Raising serious questions over the selection lists for various posts in the department of Fire and Emergency Services, the aspirants alleged bungling in selection and urged the general secretary to air their concerns at all appropriate levels.

Among others Senior Vice President, Kashmir Muhammad Syed Akhoon, and youth leader Pirzada Firoz Ahmed were also present on the occasion.

Interacting with the visiting delegation, Sagar assured them that the party will raise their concerns at all appropriate levels. “The allegations must be probed in a transparent manner. We assure you that the party will air your concerns with regard to the merit list at all forums. LG administration should ensure that no injustice is done to the deserving candidates. The discrimination against our youth post-2019 has been institutionalised but we would resist any such attempt. We won’t allow anyone to play with the future of youth. Party will shoulder their worries at every level,” he added.
