Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar on Sunday visited the residence of slain driver Satish Kumar Singh of Kakran Kulgam to express sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family members.
Imran, who was accompanied by Kulgam District Vice President, Block President Kulgam, local unit functionaries shared in the grief of the grief-stricken family, and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Consoling the slain driver’s family members, Imran said, “Such killings are violative of Kashmir’s culture of tolerance and religious bonhomie. I reiterate the party’s unreserved condemnation for such a dastardly act and demand a time bound inquiry into the incident.”
He impressed upon the government to reach out to the victims with relief and ex gratia. He also demanded that adequate security be provided to the family members who are feeling vulnerable after the killing.
