Leader of Opposition in J&K Assembly Sunil Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha) Ghulam Ali Khatana, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Anwar Khan, and Gopal Mahjan were also present on the stage.

J&K BJP state office bearers, Morcha Presidents, and District Prabharis participated in the meeting. Meeting proceedings were conducted by Gopal Mahajan.

Tarun Chugh, while addressing, called for Ideological Commitment and Booth-Level Strengthening. He emphasized that the core objective of the meeting was to ensure seamless coordination and the timely completion of all organizational structures down to the booth level. He directed party leaders to institutionalize regular monthly meetings at every tier Booth, Shakti Kendra, Mandal, District, and State to maintain organizational momentum.

Underscoring the importance of sustained public connect, Chugh stressed the need to enhance “Pravas” by leaders in their designated areas to deepen engagement with the public and strengthen cadre morale. He asserted that the BJP is not merely a political entity but a movement rooted in strong nationalist ideology, shaped by decades of visionary thinking.

Referring to the party’s ideological legacy, Chugh said that BJP’s foundational resolutions in the 1950s and 1960s had already envisaged key national priorities such as self-reliance, strategic strength, and a firm response to external threats. He cautioned against divisive and anti-national forces, urging party leaders to remain vigilant and respond decisively while upholding the party’s nationalist ideas.

Sat Sharma, in his address, laid strong emphasis on accountability and effective implementation of party policies at the grassroots level. He called for the immediate completion of organizational teams, including Morchas and Cells, across all levels to ensure seamless execution of programmes.

Highlighting the BJP’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, Sharma underlined the transformative impact of the Narendra Modi-led government’s policies. He particularly emphasized the paradigm shift towards women-led development, stating that the government has empowered women as equal stakeholders in nation-building, giving real meaning to the aspirations of nearly half the population.

Ashok Koul sought detailed district-wise reports on key organizational activities, including Mandal Prashikshan Vargs, Foundation Day programmes, Gram Chalo Abhiyan, and upcoming Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti events. He informed that nearly 258 Mandal Prashikshan Vargs are nearing completion, after which District-level training programmes will commence shortly. He also shared insights from recent deliberations held at the BJP Central Office in New Delhi.

Dr. Jitendra Singh congratulated the J&K BJP cadre for setting new benchmarks in organizational and political activities, stating that the party’s functioning in the Union Territory is being closely observed nationwide. He urged leaders to remain prepared for emerging political and organizational challenges, adopt a fact-based approach, and consistently highlight the developmental achievements of the Modi government.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, supporting the political resolution, described it as a guiding framework for the party’s future course of action. He emphasized that the resolution outlines priorities, programmes, and strategies to effectively address public issues while reinforcing the party’s commitment to development and good governance in Jammu & Kashmir.

Dr. Nirmal Singh, while seconding the resolution, highlighted the pivotal role of state office bearers as a crucial link between the party and the public. He called upon leaders and elected representatives to work in alignment with the adopted resolution to further strengthen the party’s mission and outreach.

Sunil Sethi, while presenting the resolution, acknowledged the valuable suggestions put forth by the office bearers and assured their incorporation into the final draft.
