Rajouri: Army on Monday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by a group of militants in Hamirpur area of Rajouri sector along Line of Control (LoC), sources said.
Sources said that after noticing suspicious movement, soldiers challenged the infiltrators with an explosion triggered on the spot forcing the infiltrators to flee back.
Following the incident, the Army has launched search operation along the LoC.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Army on Sunday said it foiled a “BAT action” in Keran sector of frontier district Kupwara by killing a militant the preceding day.
