DC Srinagar takes stock of facilities at Hajj House

Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, today visited Hajj House Bemina to take stock of the facilities available for the Pilgrims going to perform upcoming Hajj-2022.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Syed Hanief Balkhi, Tehsildar, Shalteng, Younis Ahmad, Executive Engineers of R&B, PDD and PHE, besides Office Bearers of Hajj House Bemina and other concerned accompanied the DC during the visit.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner visited various blocks of the Hajj House and asked the concerned Engineers to take necessary measures to ensure that the dysfunctional DG set is made operational.

He also directed the concerned to repair the water supply pipes to plug the leakages, besides ensure proper functioning of all the washrooms in the Hajj facility. He also directed them to undertake necessary renovation works to give facelift to the building that has been used as Covid-19 Wellness Centre since the outbreak of Covid pandemic.

DC also asked for beautification and maintenance of the Hajj House premises to enhance the appeal of its surroundings.

The DC also stressed on providing best of the facilities to the pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage to make their stay at Hajj House comfortable.
