Srinagar: Three militants of outfit TRF were killed in encounter at Tulran area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
Quoting Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar, the Kashmir Police Zone on its Twitter handle wrote, ” Out of 03 killed militants, one terrorist has been identified as Mukhtar Shah of Ganderbal, who shifted to Shopian after killing one street hawker Virendra Paswan of Bihar, ends the tweet.
Earlier Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Tulran on Monday.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(GNS)
