Bandipora: The four-day indoor games competition organized by District Youth Service and Sports office, Bandipora concluded with the Carrom and Chess competition between Bandipora and Quilmuqam educational zones.
Under phase second, the inter-zonal competition was organized in the disciplines of Chess, Carrom, Badminton and Table Tennis at Girls Higher Secondary school and SK Stadium Bandipora.
Students under the age group of 17 and 19 participated in the competitions. Zone Quilmuqam bagged first position in Under-17 Chess game, Zone Bandipora managed first position in Under-19 Badminton while Girls team of Zone Sumbal bagged ist position in Under-19 badminton games.
The deciding games were attended by the District Youth Service and Sports Officer, Bandipora, Ghulam Qadir Bhat, PEM Nasir Hussain and Physical Education Teachers of institutions.
