Srinagar: The government on Saturday informed that 118 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), 40 from Jammu division and 78 from Kashmir division, have been reported today.

The officials also said 113 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged from various hospitals including 70 from Kashmir and 43 from Jammu division, during the past 24 hours.

So far, officials said, 99.46 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the daily media bulletin on COVID-19), out of 3,21,462 positive cases cumulatively recorded so far, currently there are 1,176 active positive cases in J&K, while as 3,15,908 persons have recovered and 4,378 have died – 2,236 in Kashmir and 2,142 in Jammu division.
