Kulgam: A motorcyclist died while his pillion rider was injured in a road accident near Aharbal area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday afternoon.

A police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the bike rider identified as Suhaib Ahmad Magray son of late Javid Ahmad Magray and his pillion rider Sahil Iqbal Magray son of Mohammad Iqbal Magray of Watoo were injured after head-on collision between an automobile near Aharbal.

“Both the injured were rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where Suhaib Magray succumbed to his injuries,” he said.

The official said that the condition of Sahil Magray was critical while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations have been taken up. (KNO)
