Srinagar:  Anti Corruption Bureau Monday said that it has trapped and arrested the Principal of a Kendriya Vidyalaya (school) in Doda for demanding and accepting bribe,

Rajeev Kumar Mahajan, the Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jodhpur, Doda, who is also Incharge Principal,KendriyaVidyalaya,Bhaderwah had demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 from the parent for issuing a Transfer Certificate (TC) of his minor daughter, ACB said in a press release.

It said after receiving a complaint in this regard, a trap was laid and the Mahajan was arrested  red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant.

Further investigation of the case is going on, the ACB said.
