Jammu: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday met several legislators, delegations and individuals, who apprised him of various issues and concerns seeking their redressal.
Former minister and legislator Abdul Majid Wani, along with former legislator Chaman Lal, highlighted key concerns about their respective areas in Ramban district, an official press release said.
It said a delegation from the Indian Institute of Architects, J&K Chapter, led by its chairman Vikas Dubey, also called on the chief minister and apprised him of issues arising from recent amendments to the unified building bye-laws, he said.
Meanwhile, a delegation led by the president of the Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA), Prof Ravinder Singh, raised matters concerning the teaching fraternity.
Several individuals also met the chief minister and sought resolution of their grievances, the release said.
The chief minister gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and individuals and assured them that all genuine issues would be addressed on priority in a time-bound manner, press release added.
