Srinagar police seeks public help to identify body
Srinagar: Srinagar Police recovered an unidentified male dead body, age about 45 years near Gurdwara Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar, said a police spokesperson.
“The body was later taken to the hospital for autopsy and other medical legal formalities. Proceeding under section 174 CrPC has been initiated. After completion of all necessary legal formalities including Covid test & Post Mortem, the body of the deceased person has been kept in Mortuary at GMC Srinagar,” the spokesperson said.
“Anybody having any information regarding the identity of the deceased person may kindly inform Police Station Sadder on 9596770859, PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 112,” he said.
