SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today flagged off DDC Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons to Jammu for 2- day training programme from here.
The training programme has been organised by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj J&K and the training programme shall be held at Convention Center Jammu from March 9 to 10.
The participants include elected members and CEOs from various DDCs hailing from Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Budgam and other districts of Kashmir division.
On this occasion, Director Rural Development Kashmir, District Panchayat Officer, Srinagar, Kupwara (who have been designated as Nodal Officers to accompany the participants) and other officials of the Rural Development Department were also present.
The Div Com interacted with the participants and urged them to make best use of the training programme.
