Div Com Jammu reviews Beating Retreat arrangements

JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today convened a meeting to finalize the arrangements for Beating Retreat function to be held at MA Stadium on January 29.

The meeting was attended by SSP Security Jammu, ADC Jammu, Joint Director Information, besides senior officers from Army, Jal Shakti, JPDCL, PWD, JMC, Health, Sports Council, Youth Services & Sports, Fire and Emergency Services, Hospitality and Protocol and other concerned.

The Divisional Commissioner appreciated efforts of all the concerned departments for making Republic Day Celebrations a grand success.

He also exhorted upon all departments to work in close coordination so that all necessary arrangements are put in place for Beating Retreat ceremony.

Divisional Commissioner directed Police and Traffic Departments to ensure adequate arrangements of security and proper traffic management, while other concerned departments were asked to make requisite arrangements for sanitation, Medicare, sitting, display of band etc.
