Samples of two UK male returnees sent to Delhi
Srinagar: Dr Bilkis Shah who is Nodal Officer for COVID-19 at JLNM Hospital refuted the reports that two UK male returnees have been tested positive for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome or SARS-CoV-2, the new strain which was first reported in United Kingdom a month ago.
“Duo was tested positive for COVID-19 and their samples have been sent to Delhi to confirm whether they are infected with Mutated Corona-Virus or not,” Dr Bilkis Shah told ‘Kashmir Images’.
She said the media reports that two UK returnees have been tested positive for new strain are baseless.
