Beacon comes to the rescue of ambulance stuck in snow in Baramulla

Baramulla: An ambulance had to be rescued when it became stuck in the snow on Srinagar-Uri highway near Veerwan Pandit Colony in Baramulla on the intervening night of 6 January.

Officiating Commandant (OC) BEACON 53 RCC Major Jitender Singh told Kashmir Images that they received an information at 0200 hrs midnight that an ambulance ferrying a patient got stuck on highway near Pandit Migrant Colony Weervan, immediately a rescue operation was launched to rescue the ambulance.

“Men and Machinery were pressed in to rescue the ambulance and patient safely. Clearance of road was done to provide safe passage to the Ambulance,” he informed.

People and health authorities have hailed the efforts of BEACON officials and their prompt response.
