Srinagar: The number of deaths due to Covid-19 has reached 1826 in Jammu and Kashmir with nine deaths reported on Thursday.
Officials said that the coronavirus has claimed 1161 lives in Kashmir and 665 in Jammu division so far.
Meanwhile, the Union Territory reported 385 new positive cases of COVID-19 – 233 from Kashmir and 152 from Jammu division thus taking the total number of positive cases to 117317, said the officials.
“Out of 117317 positive cases, 4327 are Active Positive while as 111164 have recovered so far,” said the officials.
They further said that out of 3448733 test results available, 3331416 samples have been tested as negative till December17, 2020.
