Teetwal : Sarpanchs and Panchs held a protest demonstration on Monday afternoon here against District Administration Kupwara for failing to post a Block Development Officer (BDO) for Teetwal block.

They alleged that the unavailability of BDO has brought all the developmental works to a complete halt in Teetwal.

According to reports, Sarpanchs and Panchs assembled near Block Development Office Teetwal and locked down the BDO Office.

“Block Development Office Teetwal will remain closed unless a BDO takes charge here,” they said.

The Teetwal Block comprises of areas like Chmkoot, Gundigujra, Bahdurkoot, and Sadapora.
