Baramulla, October 12: Villagers of Shaldajan and adjoining villages of Nowshera in Boniyar Tehsil in Baramulla district are facing immense hardships as the only link road which connects the village and other adjoining villages to the highway at Nowshera is in a dilapidated condition.

According to locals, the link road is dotted with potholes and ruts making the traffic and pedestrian movement extremely difficult. “The government has not undertaken any repair work on this road since 2005.”
