Jammu: The mother of Advisor to Governor, Farooq Khan passed away today.
Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu has extended his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Khalida Begum, mother of Farooq Khan.
Terming her as a noble and compassionate soul, the Lt Governor said that she was a philanthropist, always working for the welfare of public.
In a condolence message, the Lt Governor prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, Advisors to LG, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, KK Sharma and Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam too expressed grief over the sad demise of mother of Farooq Khan.
