Bear mauls two persons in Tangmarg village

Tangmarg: Two persons were injured after a wild bear attacked them in Hari-Watnoo Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Monday creating panic in the areas with people living under constant threat of wild animal attacks.

Residents of Kilwara Hari-watnoo village of Tangmarg told Kashmir Images that a woman as Shameema Bano and another person Mohammad Akber Magray of Kilwar Hari-Watnoo village were critically injured in a bear attack when they were working in his nearby fields .

“As they raised alarm after the bear attacked them, people in the neighbourhood came for his rescue but they sustained grave wounds,” locals said.

 We rushed her to the duo sub-district hospital Tangmarg where
doctors referred to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. People have appealed to wildlife authorities for swift action and to save precious lives.
