Srinagar: Scores of job aspirants staged a peaceful protest in Press Colony Srinagar on Friday against the recent Government Administrative Department (GAD) order.

The job aspirant said that GAD has withdrawn Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) job notifications published from 2014 to 2019.

The aspirants alleged that administration is playing with their careers.

One of the aspirants, Gowhar Ahmad, said that on 6 June, 2020 government issued tentative exams schedule for some posts but on 19 June, the administration issued another notification and revoked the job notifications mentioning that new notifications will be separately issued.

The aspirations said that they have been waiting and preparing for exams from last four years but the new administrative order has wasted all our hard work.

“We request the Lieutenant Governor kindly look into the matter and conduct our exams as soon as possible so that our time and handwork pays off,” they said.
