Baramulla: A 21-year old youth was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his home in Mayan Bijhama village of Uri and a 2-year old minor girl drowned in a streamlet in Wagoora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday .
Sources said a 21 year old youth identified as Sohail Ahmad Lone son of Late Manzoor Ahmad Lone resident of Mayan Uri was found dead in his room at his residence on Tuesday morning.
The family members informed local police who reached the spot and took the body into their custody for legal formalities and after completing the formalities handed over the body to family for last rites, sources added.
Meanwhile, Station House officer Bijhama while confirming the incident said in this regard a case under relevant act was registered and further investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile, a 2-year old girl slipped into a Nallah in Wagoora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Locals said a two-year-old girl slipped in a stream Khalari (nallah) when she was playing near it outside her home.
Soon after the incident, the locals rushed to the spot and retrieved the body and rushed her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, reports added.
