“COVID -19 Essay Competition” to be organized in dist Pulwama

PULWAMA: In order to express solidarity and appreciate the efforts being put in globally by the healthcare professional and frontline workers of key departments, who are at forefront in fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic, District Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with Education Department is organizing an Online   Essay Competition for High School, Higher Secondary School and College Students of District Pulwama, in view of global Pandemic.

The objective behind oranising the Competition is to foster pursuit of knowledge, creativity to stimulating a culture of reading, learning and values among the student community besides keeping them engaged positively in the times of self-quarantine and social distancing.

The themes of the competition for High School and Higher Secondary School students have been set as: Alternatives of Learning and Teaching in Times of Lockdown.

A world without Internet; A pandemic, Media and Civil Society and Lessons from Coronavirus whereas  the themes of essays for college going students are  Pandemics and Futures, Ethics  and Consumerism, Corona and the world after it and Is Globalization Still Relevant.

In this regard High & Higher Secondary School and College going  Students belonging to District Pulwama are asked to participate in the competition by sending their Essays (in word format, duly typed double spaced) from their parents to  email at paint competition.dcpul@gmail.com along with particulars including: Name, Parentage, residence, school, college and Class.
