7 Covid-19 patients recover in Baramulla, discharged

BARAMULLA: Authorities in Baramulla discharged seven COVID-19 patients including the first patient, who was found positive in the district, from Govt Medical College Baramulla after all of them have recovered from the disease.

The patients, hailing from different regions were treated at GMC and were discharged after their tests were found negative for the virus repeatedly.

Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo congratulated the recovered patients and urged upon them to remain in home quarantine for some time as a precautionary measure. He also distributed the requisite medicines among them.

“This disease can be defeated, if necessary measures and precautions are followed,” the DC added.

Medical Superintendent Associated Hospital Dr Syed Masood, medical officers among other functionaries were present on the occasion.
