Shopian: Two unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight between government forces and militants in Dairoo, Keegam area of shopian District.
Official sources said that on specific inputs about the presence of militants joint team of forces including 44 RR launched search operation in the area.
As the joint team of forces intensified search operation towards the suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forced which was retaliated and thereby triggering a gunfight,” they said.
During exchange of fire, two unidentified militant have been killed.
